bookworms only.

hello i want to make reviews for some of the great books i've read. by the way today is my 3rd day of final exam hahaha

1. AIRHEAD - Meg Cabot
the book is about a girl named Em Watts, a normal girl and a brainiac. She had an accident, and woke up in a supermodel body. Get it? So, she was supposed to be dead i think, and then Stark Enterprises, a billion-dollar company, did a brain transplant, so Em's brain is in this supermodel body, the supermodel's name by the way, is Nikki Howard. Her family knows about this, and they have to shut up or the Stark Enterprises will sue them. What makes it worse is that Em (or Nikki?) wants this one boy she can't have because this boy thinks Em is deaaaaad. This is actually a really good book. It's like a sequel, the first sequel is Airhead, the second is Airhead : Being Nikki and the third one is Airhead : Runaway. Unfortunately, I don't know that Airhead is a sequel so I buy the second book without knowing it hahahaha. Now I can't wait to buy the third book, it's already out by the way :D can't waittttt

Is brain transplant.... even possible? hahaha it kinda seems impossible i think, but i read that Meg Cabot (that's the author of Airhead) had done some research and found out that brain transplant is possible, although they only did it to the primates as a research, but it's good to know that she's not writing bullshit. The sequel is somehow different than all the teen books Meg Cabot wrote. And that's why I like it. I give it 4 out of 5.

2. HUNGER GAMES - Suzanne Collins
This book is somehow strange but it is very very very good. So, North America is no more. Now it is called Capitol with Panem as the capital city. There is an annual games every year called Hunger Games. The rule is simple : kill or be killed. In Capitol, there are 12 districts, each district will send two people to join the Hunger Games. The main characters in Hunger Games are Katniss Everdeen, a 16-year-old girl from District 12, the least favorite district. She replaced her younger sister, Primrose, when she was chosen to be the representative from District 12. Peeta is the other representative from District 12 and he was special for Katniss because of what he did when they were little. And Gale, a best friend of Katniss. He was older than Katniss.

The book is like 10% Survivor reality show, 10% Fear Factor maybe hahaha lol. There's like a love triangle between Peeta-Katniss-Gale. It is a very interesting book, and it has sequels (Hunger Games, Catching Fire and Mockingjay). The last sequel, Mockingjay, unfortunately isn't out yet. I. Can't. Wait. For. It. I give it 6 out of 5 hahahaha kidding, it's 5 out of 5 :)

3. THE POWER OF FIVE by Anthony Horowitz
Now, this book is different, too. So, there was 4 boys and 1 girl, each of them has some kind of supernatural power. They are called The Gatekeepers, Matt Freeman, Pedro, Scott and Jamie Tyler, and Scarlett Adams. Bottom line is, they have to defeat what's called The Old Ones, to stop them from controlling the world. Matt, as the leader, have to gather all five Gatekeepers before the time runs out. Matt Freeman has telekinesis and precognition power, while Pedro can heal people. Scott and Jamie Tyler, the twins, have telephathy power and they can control the thoughts of others around them. The girl, Scarlett Adams is capable not only to predict the weather, but also controlling the weather.

Until today, there are 4 series of The Power of Five and I can't wait to read the next one. I give it 4/5.
